Later that same night as the full moon rose, Fredrico began setting about carving the intricate symbols into the newly obtained centerpiece of his dark ritual. Carefully he set about his plan, believing he could control the forces he was about to unleash. Chanting the incantation, the skull’s symbols began to glow, and the room filled with whispers from the dead. Fredrico, blinded by his ambition, pressed on. As the final words left his lips a sudden flash and a searing pain is all he knew.
